Am I covered to teach Acro Yoga?
Acro yoga is not included in the standard yoga insurance policy offered through Yoga Pros. If you’re insured with Balens, you’ll need to request additional cover through their Additional Therapies Policy. Always check directly with your insurance provider.
Why This Matters
Acro yoga is considered a higher-risk activity and because of this, it typically falls outside of standard yoga insurance coverage. Teaching acro yoga without appropriate insurance could leave you personally liable in the event of an incident.
What This Means for You
Acro yoga is not automatically covered under the standard yoga and meditation policy with Balens and you will need to purchase the Additional Therapies Policy from Balens to be fully covered.
