Am I covered to teach Reiki?
Reiki is not included in the standard yoga insurance policy offered through YogaPros. If you’re insured with Balens, you’ll need to request additional cover through their Additional Therapies Policy. Always check directly with your insurance provider.
Why This Matters
Because of its hands-on and energetic nature, it falls outside the standard yoga insurance scope. To be insured while offering Reiki, you must hold a Reiki qualification and arrange additional coverage.
What This Means for You
If you're offering Reiki as part of your teaching or wellness practice, you’ll need to contact Balens to arrange cover under their Additional Therapies Policy and you must hold a valid Reiki qualification.
