Can I teach other therapies or activities under the YogaPros membership insurance policy?
If you teach anything beyond yoga or meditation, you’ll need to check with Balens. Some activities require additional cover and are not automatically included.

The insurance policy in your YogaPros membership is designed to cover specific activities, namely yoga and meditation, as long as you are appropriately qualified. If you teach something outside of yoga or meditation, such as another therapy or activity, you may not be covered under the member master policy. Examples of activities that may require additional cover include;
- Aerial yoga
- Acro yoga
- Yogalates
- Pilates
- Gong baths or sound healing
- Personal Training
This is important because if a claim arises from an excluded activity, the insurance policy may not respond.
Checking your cover ensures you are fully protected and operating within your professional responsibilities.

What You Need to Do
Review the activities you currently offer (beyond yoga and meditation)
- Balens offer members a discounted Therapy Insurance Policy to cover additional therapies.
- Check the Therapy Policy list to see if your activities are included and note any that are missing.
- If an activity is not on the list or appears in class 4 or higher, contact Balens to confirm the required policy for coverage.
- If your therapy is on the list, complete the application form for the additional cover and send it to Balens. They will contact you to confirm and take the payment.
