I am working in partnership, or I have set up a training school - will I need additional insurance cover?
If you are teaching, training, or working under anything other than your own personal name, it is important to check whether the Master policy still matches your professional setup.
Why does this matter?
The Master policy covers work carried out in your own personal name only.
If you are working under a business name, through a limited company, in partnership with someone else, or running a training school or clinic, your insurance needs may be different. In these situations, the Master policy may not be suitable, and additional or alternative cover may be needed.
What the Policy covers
The Master policy is designed to cover work you carry out in your own personal name.
If you:
- Work under a trading name or company name (limited or otherwise), or
- Are working as part of a partnership or have set up a clinic under a business name,
then the Master policy would not be suitable, and you may need additional or alternative insurance cover.
Please contact Balens to discuss the most appropriate cover for your situation.
