Does my insurance policy insure me to work at or run retreats?
The policy covers you to teach at retreats, but organising or running retreats is NOT covered and requires separate Tour Operators Liability insurance.
The policy does cover you to work at a retreat in your capacity as a Yoga/Meditation teacher.
However, there is no cover under this policy for running a retreat (for example taking bookings, organising travel or accommodation, or putting together the overall package). This type of activity falls under Tour Operators Liability, which is specifically excluded under the Balens liability policy.
