How much insurance cover is provided by the insurance policy / what is the limit of indemnity?
The policy provides £6,000,000 (UK) or €6,500,000 (Ireland) cover per claim with unlimited annual claims (except products liability), and includes commercial legal protection up to £100,000 (UK) or €150,000 (Ireland).
The Combined Liabilities policy provides a limit of indemnity of £6,000,000 per member for the UK policy and €6,500,000 for the Irish policy. This applies any one claim, with unlimited claims per year, except for the Products Liability section, which is in the aggregate.
If you wish to increase the limit of indemnity to £10,000,000 (UK only), please contact Balens. An additional premium will apply, and we will need to know the reason for the requested increase.
The Commercial Legal Protection policy has a limit of indemnity of £100,000 for the UK policy and €150,000 for the Irish policy.
