Professional liability

Covers errors or omissions in your professional advice or treatment, so claims about your work don’t fall back on you personally.

Public liability

Protects you if someone is injured or their property is damaged in connection with your business activities.

Products liability

Covers claims arising from products you make, sell or supply, including items you recommend or provide to clients.

Legal expenses

Helps with legal defence costs for criminal allegations and provides access to a legal and counselling helpline.

A suitable limit of indemnity

Ensures your cover is high enough for worst-case scenarios; a low or aggregate limit could leave you personally out of pocket.

Limit of liability. £6,000,000 as standard, on an any-one-claim basis, with unlimited claims in any one policy year. Defence costs in addition. Legal defence costs are covered in addition to the £6M limit — and are unlimited.

Retrospective cover

Protection for past work, provided you were appropriately insured when the work was carried out.

Cover for previous work. Includes cover for previous work performed (if insured at the time), protecting against late-discovered claims.

Run-off cover

Keeps you protected for claims made after you stop practising, so you don’t need to pay for ongoing cover into retirement.

Claims-occurring basis. Cover can remain in place for work you did in the past, even if you later take a break, provided you were insured at the time.

Cover for working abroad

Flexibility to work abroad — but don’t assume your UK cover automatically follows you overseas.

Covered as standard. If you organise, host, or run retreats yourself, additional insurance may be required.

Gives you flexibility as your business activities and offerings evolve.
